Your operations should survive a change of vendor.

Models change. Cloud providers change their prices, terms and jurisdictions. Infrastructure ages. A company is digitally resilient when it can replace all three without rebuilding the business process. We help companies in Europe get there — with architecture, open software and AI that runs on their own infrastructure.

Models are replaceable. Your process isn't.

The ground can change; the layer above survives. The dashed slot is whichever provider comes next.

01 — Definition

Keep the choice.

  • NotLeave every American cloud.
  • NotRun everything yourself.
  • NotOpen source on principle.

A resilient company can decide tomorrow to switch a provider, a model or a data center — and the switch is a project, not a restart from zero. Whether it ever makes that decision is secondary. That it could make it is the difference between dependency and a negotiating position.

This is an architecture question, not a procurement question. That is why we don't start with the list of vendors but with the business process: what has to keep running when something goes away?

02 — Areas of work

Three areas of work.

ACloud exit and exit readiness

We build architectures in which a change of provider remains possible — and we support the switch when it comes due. The business process is separated from the infrastructure that executes it. Data lives in formats and stores you can take with you. Services that exist at only one provider are encapsulated or replaced. And for every dependency that remains, there is a documented way out.

A cloud exit does not have to be complete. Often it is enough to make the critical paths exit-ready and deliberately leave the rest where it is. We tell you which paths those are.

“We don't build an architecture where your business model depends on a particular interface still existing in exactly the same form three years from now.”

BAI on-premise and on-edge

Language models don't have to run in someone else's cloud. For many tasks — reading documents, extracting fields, classifying requests, drafting replies — a specialized, smaller model on your own hardware is enough. Often it is not just cheaper but better, because it is adapted to the task.

We optimize open models for concrete tasks so that they run cost-efficiently on controlled infrastructure: in your own data center, at a European provider, or directly on your organization's devices. Where a large model is needed, the access stays replaceable — no process depends on a particular vendor.

COpen-source strategy

We rely on open software for customer solutions, and we publish our own tools under open licenses. Not out of ideology: open source code is the only form of software you can inspect, adapt and keep running when the vendor no longer does.

An open-source strategy doesn't mean building everything yourself. It means knowing, for every component, what happens if it goes away — and having an answer for the critical components that isn't “then we have a problem.”

03 — Regulation

DORA, NIS2 and what tools can contribute.

For financial institutions DORA, and for essential and important entities NIS2, require that digital dependencies are known, under control and replaceable in an emergency: third-party risk, exit strategies, traceability, recovery.

Software cannot meet these requirements — the organization does that, with its processes, contracts and evidence. But software can make the implementation much easier or much harder.

Evidence an auditor can follow

  • A documented exit path for every critical dependency
  • Cryptographically verifiable audit exports
  • Versioned, reconstructible process executions
  • Tenant separation enforced in the database

We build that kind of architecture. Which requirements apply to you and how you meet them is something you settle with your compliance function — we make sure the technology doesn't stand in the way.

04 — How we work

How we work.

The process first.

We start with the question of which business process has to keep running — not with the question of which technology we want to use.

Choice over dogma.

Do you have to leave Azure or AWS? No. Resilience doesn't mean rejecting a particular provider. It means building an architecture in which you keep the choice.

Measured, not claimed.

What we build has tests, evidence and a documented state — including where that state is uncomfortable. This applies to our products, and it applies to projects.

Human in the process.

AI may prepare and execute. The process determines when a human decides.

05 — What we work with

Our products grew out of this work.

They are not demos but the tools we use to build resilient systems — and all of them are open source under Apache 2.0.

Product Contribution to resilience License
Process Core Process platform for regulated software: self-hosted, verifiable audit exports, versioned and reconstructible execution Apache 2.0
Edge AI Fabric Document AI on the organization's devices, end-to-end encrypted, Relay you can run yourself Apache 2.0
TCKT Support and customer platform for service providers, self-hosted, AI connection only after an explicit decision Apache 2.0
INTAKE Document routing for public administration, with model choice all the way down to your own data center Apache 2.0

06 — Registry

digital-resilience.cloud

Anyone who wants to switch needs to know where to.

We operate digital-resilience.cloud, an independent directory of European providers for every layer of the stack — infrastructure, platform, software. Each entry lists the operator, jurisdiction and hosting location; providers can be compared directly.

07 — Talk to us

Which business process would improve fundamentally if you could run it independently of a single vendor — and AI reliably took over parts of it?

After that we talk about dependencies, irreversible actions, audit requirements and what has to keep running in an emergency.
